Homeopathic Remedy – Aconite
In ancient times aconite was used as a quick-acting poison. Today it is a valuable remedy for highly acute conditions, conditions in which the patient thinks s/he is going to die.
Homeopathically Aconite is indicated for the early stages of many illness and is often followed by other remedies according to changing symptoms. It is suitable to people who are nervous, over sensitive and who suffer from cardiovascular problems.
Symptoms
Fever, inflammation and pain, often coming suddenly after exposure to cold or heat, and especially to dry, cold wind. Shortness of breath, pulse is full and strong. High fever, head is hot and red, one cheek pale. Vertigo on sitting up. After-effects of shock.
Anxiety, agitation and restlessness, tossing about, with great fear, fear of death. Intolerance of pain.
Hot, dry, congested skin, without perspiration; but may sweat on covered parts, and on the palms. Great thirst for large quantities of cold water, attacks of chill alternate with fever.
Hoarse, dry, convulsive cough is often present.
Worse Towards midnight. Extremes of temperature. Least touch.
Better Appearance of sweat. Open air.
